Garlic Ginger Cough Syrup

Here is a great video on how to make cough syrup. This syrup is excellent for treating coughs that are deep and won't go away. I have used this with my children and they like the taste and the relief it provides.

Here are the ingredients used:

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup Honey

1/4 cup lemon juice

2 large garlic cloves

1 t. grated ginger

dash of cayenne pepper

Enjoy:)

  1. Very interesting! Honey and lemon have been used for years for one ailment or another it seems. So, there must be something to it!

I saw that we had some similar interests and when I read your profile, I just knew that we probably had many things in common. So, I just wanted to take the time to say Hi and introduce myself really. I started a blog a couple of months ago. It is a "mommy" blog of sorts and more informative than anything. I hope you will come and visit!!
